Well they day started off real early. I awoke to the sound of rain coming down in sheets, and the thunder pounding 20 seconds after the strike of lightning (3 o'clock in the morning). At 10 o'clock the rain was still coming down and the water was rising. Everyone was in a rush to try and damn up the front doors, with make shift sand bags, for those that lived in the lower level. It wasn't until around 2 o'clock that we got things under control with the sand bags and the time that the rain desided to stop. The water rose in some apartments to about 2 or 3 inches.
(these are some of the photo's dallyn took while I was running around helping with the sandbags.)
