This is how we roll!

None of that 'Sis'-sy Stuff

Are you tired of those

sissy 'friendship' poems

that always sound good,

but never actually come close

to reality?

Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of

True Friendship.

You WON'T see

cutesy little smiley faces

on this card-

Just the stone cold truth

of our great friendship.

1. When you are sad,

I will jump on the person

who made you sad

like a spider monkey

jacked up on Mountain Dew!!!

2. When you are blue,

I will try to dislodge

whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile,

I will know you are

plotting something

that I must be involved in.

4. When you're scared,

we will high tail it out of here.

5. When you are worried,

I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse

it could be until you

quit whining, ya big baby!!!!

6. When you are confused,

I will use little words.

7. When you are sick,

Stay away from me

until you are well again.

I don't want whatever you have...

8. When you fall,

I'll pick you up

and dust you off--

After I laugh my rear off!!

9. This is my oath...

I pledge it to the end.

'Why?' you may ask;

-- because you are my FRIEND!

Friendship is like peeing your pants,

everyone can see it,

but only YOU

can feel the

true warmth.

5:45 in the Morning

For those that are interested. There are a couple of web sites that we wake up early to look at the web cameras to see if there is surf. The main one that is watch is the Velzy land camera, and today it is a good one to watch, the surf is lookin good.

http://swellwatch.wetsand.com/surf-cams/?camId=47257&camName=hawaii_velzyland

this next one you click on the picture and then click on a time and the cam will stream for you

http://www.surfnewsnetwork.com/index.php?content_type_id=48

Then there is wave watch which is not that good because the cameras on the north shore are usually down, but for california its great. the plus to this one is that you can control the view.

Last is the turtle bay web camera. With this one you just click on the picture with the swimming pool and your video will appear. You have to know where to look but the plus is you can control the cam.

Just click on one of the links and you're good to go, or you can copy the and paste the address into your web browser!
If the cams don't seem to work, just be patient nd the goods will come to you.

SHARK WEEK

Well it looks like shark week has come to an end. With great footage on the discovery channel, every time we went out into the water we where very cautious of the water surroundings. Inside we were hoping to see a shark or an attack. Saturday the last day of the week we went to Sunset beach to just relax. Well I got called out of the water by Jake because he thought he saw something swimming in the water just 5-6 feet behind me. I got out of the water and he pointed out to me that there was a dark shadow swimming around right there on the shallows of the shore. So we grab our snorkels and jumped in to see what it was.....
You guessed it, the dark shadow was a 5-6 foot black tip reef shark! Talk about a great way to end shark week by being able to see a shark face to face (almost about 3 feet away).
We kinda were joking with jake telling him that he should have not waved me in but rather should have let nature take its course!
That would have been a sweet scare and an even better story. I could have even been on next years shark week! maybe next year.
This is a true story, and yes once everyone noticed us pointing out that there was a shark in the water everyone was right at the edge of the water watching and screaming to the people in the water to get out. lame!

SCUBA STEVE

Well today was a fun day. It has been a long time since we last went, and for some the last experience was not all that impressing. It was fun but it did not have the "WOW" factor. We went with Josh and Steve scuba diving at sharks cove, and YES we forgot the camera once again. For those that are able to go scuba diving, sharks cove is a much at least once! there are lots of caves to go exploring, and you could even chart a route/see if it is possible to free dive the cave. The first ones up where Steve and Josh, then Bracken came up next along with Dallyn but her tank reading was at 1000 so she could have kept on going. It was cheap, fun, and it lasted about a good 1.5 hours.
